After a few years of collecting various and sundry Kenwood rigs, there is enough equipment to make a list of the Kenwood boat anchors in my collection. This page is dedicated to documenting efforts to restore these rigs.
So, this first post will be to list an inventory of the Kenwood rigs.

The Kenwood TS-830S follows in the tradition of the successful TS-820S. It is designed for SSB and CW modes in the 160 through 10 meter ham bands,
and additionally includes the 30, 17 and 12 meter WARC bands. Power input is 220 watts PEP SSB and 180 watts DC CW. The finals are a pair of
6146B tubes. (This transceiver does
not have general coverage receive).
Requires 120 VAC 50/60 Hz 295 watts. 13.3 x 5.3 x 13.37 inches 29.8 lbs (333x133x333 mm 13.5 kg).

The Kenwood TS-820S is designed for SSB and CW modes in the 160 through 10 meter ham bands. It also features receive of WWV at 15 MHz. Power input is 200W PEP SSB and 160W DC CW. The TS-820S is shown above with the optional DG-1A, SP-820 and VFO-820. (This transceiver does
not have general coverage receive). The TS-820S can be used with the
Kenwood R-820 receiver.

The Kenwood TS-520 is designed for SSB and CW modes in the 80 through 10 meter ham bands. It also features receive of WWV at 10 MHz. The TS-520 features a very accurate linear analog
display dial. Power input is 120W PEP SSB and 100W DC CW. (This transceiver does
not have general coverage receive). The hybrid circuit includes three 6146A and two 12BY7A tubes plus 1 IC, 17 FETS, 45 transistors and 84 diodes. Additonal transmit settings are accessable through a door on the
left panel of the radio. The TS-520 is shown above with the optional SP-520 and VFO-520.
